Staph Infections Make Citizens Nervous
Posted August 23, 2009 – 1:19 pm in: HealthWorld epidemics like the swine flu have other people thinking about staph as well as common things that people get in a hospital. The spanish influenza was the dawn of a new deadly era.
Staph infections have been more in the news lately, but is there any real harm than there was a year or even 10 years ago?
The truth of the matter is that people go in spurts, and are affected more by what they ready and watch rather than what things really are. Wile there were only a few cases of the swine flu affecting people in various areas, people were going crazy buying masks and other things to protect themselves. The MRSA virus is no different. It is not something that is going to kill people overnight.
The MRSA can be bad, but generally when people touch other peoples things that are infected, or get sweat from an infected person is it dangerous.
